There are foreign companies that offer five-blade razors, however what we find today is that competing products all look the same. They also often lack the minimal, premium look that Japanese consumers tend to prefer. Existing razors do not fit the interiors of the bathrooms where sophisticated materials such as chrome, ceramic and wood are used.

Inspired by high class objects such as champagne bottles, cologne, and stainless steel, we came up with a design that feels masculine but premium, without the “overdone” design of other brands. We focused on a clean look that would transform a razor into an element of decoration in the consumer’s home.

We had the honor to receive the Good Design Award in the Human Body – Health, Personal Care, and Living Assistance Products category for our design.
